Jones the Grocer

Its the time of the month again.

Where we meet up. We had a lot of fun and laughter as usual. I don't recall any meet-up not being filled up with joy and happiness. It was really enjoyable and each meet-up is so unique and cherishable.

2 siao ding dongs studying at Takashimaya.

We went to Takashimaya's Ambush and the food was pretty good and priced reasonably. It was there that Samuel shared with us how he got hold of his other half. Short and nice story but I will not reveal it here. Haha, but he actually used a sock as a proposal gift, interesting indeed.

Then we went to Mandarin's Gallery's "Jones the Grocer". And its a fantastic place. It's classy, cheap(No GST+Service Charge), comfortable, spacious, great lightings, nice ambience, friendly staffs, clean, and beautiful.

I was looking at the menu, then David was asking where's the Iced Tiramisu. Then I told him its on Page 6 and in the end he was like where's Page 6? In the end, I mistook the price $6 for page 6 because it was located at the bottom left hand corner.

Because of that, I was almost driven out of that place LOL.

Very orderly and high-class right? Its really a nice chilling place to be in.

We didn't really try any wine because we always order wine when we go out. So we thought we will stick to tea and coffee this time round.

The famous Hot Tea

The wine connoisseur checking out the wine displayed in the glass cabinet.

The super friendly waitress. For a moment, I thought my friend was working here when she came to me and said hi so enthusiastically. Very nice indeed. But Samuel scolded her because he got a drink that he don't think is ice-blended. Poor thing.

But I think she interested in Wei Kuan. check out Wei Kuan looking at her intently.

They immediately served us with the water once we arrived. very nice cup and good initiative.

The scone that cost $4, so expensive but Jenson said it was very nice.

Yeah, its a fantastic place, located on the 4th level of Mandarin Gallery, do drop by there if you got the time. Its really a great place. This goes to show that not all things are expensive inside Mandarin Gallery.
