Apple destroys Microsoft

On Wednesday, Apple's market capitalization edged past its longtime rival's as investors made official what consumers have long suggested: Microsoft is no longer the industry's alpha dog.

Part of Microsoft's problem is that, instead of finding its own audience, it has fallen into a game of catch-up and is focusing too much energy on finding products to directly rival Apple's, said Kay.

"I don't know if they have to compete," he said. "What seems to be working for Microsoft is its serious applications for businesses, education institutions and other enterprises, and if they stay focused on their commercial business that gives them a lot."

Once again, we see that even gargantuan companies like Microsoft has not been spared from the vicious elimination in the game of the "Survival of the Fittest".

Once known to be the brand and the operating software of the Universe, it has now fallen and sales have plummeted since then.

Microsoft has been chasing after the latest craze and fads and that has apparently caused them to lose their way. They are no longer as focused as they were in the past. Rather than focusing on their next step, they follow someone else's next step. And that has caused to be a step behind every single time!

Instead, I believe that they should continue to move on with their operating system, simply by listening to the mass public and continue to innovate consistently without fail to keep their customers intact.

Apparently, right now, that is absolutely not the case as Microsoft is entering into new forays like music players and tablet players. Absurb isn't it ?
