Vogue Gallery

Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana celebrated their 25years in bussiness with the Dolce & Gabbana Spring show. That's why they brought a (kind of) hommage to their Sicilian roots. The show began with stills of traditional Mediterranean scenes of Italians sewing to bring the crowd in the Sicilian atmosphere. The collection paid homage to the beauty of handcrafted white lace. They showed many romantic pieces: lace embroidered full-length dresses, baby dolls and cami/shorts looks. I saw plenty of dresses, cleaving to the body, or narrow-waisted and with voluminous skirts. Although there were a couple floral and leopard dresses, white was the message. My favourite: The lace dress smothered in clear crystals for a sparkling evening look. Maybe this could be my New Years Eve Dress? Still need one before I go celebrate in Paris.
So what are you wearing for NYE and what do you think of this collection?
