*Runway: Versace

´´Rigor with sensuality",
That was her focus for Spring. And the focus was absolute: A handful of elements combined to create a statement that was limited but strong. The models' hair cued a new strictness. (they all had a topknot). Red and turquoise boxy jackets and matching thigh-split skirts provided more wearable shades.Trousers are always out of the question in a Spring Versace show, but ¾ is being the new length for this season. This gives the dresses a more sophisticated look.As Donatella pointed out, the longer skirt could be paired with a midriff-baring tank or a top scissored into an asymmetric racerback. With an eye for detail, the cutouts were carried over to the footwear. This effort seemed definitely to be about focus and colorful restraint, instead of the the celebrity-driven front row mania of the brand’s past legendary outings.
