Designing with herself and her friends Kate Moss, Madonna and Gwyneth Paltrow in mind, rock royal Stella McCartney is famous for her sharp tailoring and sexy femininity style.

Stella McCartney, the daughter of Beatle Paul McCartney, succeeded grandly to solidify her own name as a talented designer independent from the fame of her father.

After working as the chief designer at Chloé, McCartney started her signature line in 2001.

All the elements she's known for were in her ready-to-wear collection for this Spring too.

McCartney's kind of slouchy, slightly oversize tailoring has caught on in a major way: The longer boyfriend jacket with the strong shoulder and the pushed-up sleeve that she showed today over little cocktail dresses or with cropped pants has become a big trend.

With a mix of sex appeal and femininity, the Spring show had it all!

these style conscious guys otherwise known as "hipsters" are commonly seen at indie concerts, are obsessed with anything produced by apple and have a style thats a mix between a hippie and a rocker.

other than loving god, having a sense of humor, and playing the guitar...this is another trait i want my future guy to have. i am so attracted to guys who can throw on a white v neck, skinny jeans and some vans and look stylish without even trying hard. 

*Trend: Statement Shoulders

Bold sculptural shoulders are a key trend this Spring, as we saw on several catwalks.

After the Balmain show, longer- exaggerated shoulders are officially the big thing for summer.

However, the new big shoulder isn’t just an 80’s throwback to the shoulder pad stuffed power suit.

For 2009, shoulders have new prints like a geometric edge.

When you wear this trend, it's very important to give the silhouette some balance.

A great trick is to wear your accentuated jacket with a tight fitted pencil skirt and to accessories with a belt, to emphasise your waist.
