happy new year.

2009 was a fun year when i was able to accomplish many of my dreams. i started my personal fashion blog, was invited to the teen vogue offices in nyc, met julia frakes, richard chai and the editors of teen vogue, started working for my first magazine and have had my photographs published in multiple publications. thank you to all of those who read and support my dreams...and i hope you are inspired by the many arts that keep me motivated daily towards my dream of working in the fashion industry.
best wishes for the new year. i hope your dreams come true.
happy 2010.

*Runway: Hervé Léger By Max Azria

J'adore Hervé Léger, for sure!
For those who were waiting (just like me) for a new spin on the bandage dress this Spring are at the right adress. For the Hervé Léger collection this Spring, designer Max Azria really pushed the boundaries of the possibilities of the bandage dress, creating a more bohemian flair. Chunky crystal appliqué added random texture and earthy glamour to an otherwise straight forward cocktail dress. A neutral palette and tonal embellishments were effectively applied to sandy, nude and cream-colored dresses. This all with a great focus on handcraftmanship and expensive materials. With a more loosened op silhouette, this clothes actually can be translated to the street.
*Enjoy and tell me what YOU think of the desert inspired collection!*
