Animal prints & skins have been there previous Spring and are coming back this Spring.

Many designers as Christopher Kane, Cavalli and Bernard Willhelm show us that there are many summer alternatives to traditional animal skin prints (like leopard prints).

The animal print trend has developed so fast this year, that it now includes other animal skins, like: zebra, crocodile, cheetah, ocelot, jaguar, cow, giraffe,... Another way that this season trend is growing, is by using bold animal images on the entire outfit like Christopher Kane.

Animal prints add an exotic flair to any fashion wardrobe and generally look great on any body type.

If you're normally an understated dresser and you're not fully convinced of this trend, then you can stay with accessories too: even a leopard clutch or zebra wedges can spice up your entire outfit if you combine it right.

The main key with this busy trend, is to keep the rest of the outfit simple!

Avril Lavigne, Deryk Whibley 'Strongly Deny' Marital Problems

Despite anything you might have read, Avril Lavigne and Deryck Whibley's marriage is apparently just fine, thank you. That's according to a statement posted Tuesday on Whibley's band Sum 41's MySpace page, under the title "Totally False Gossip," denying a report in the National Enquirer that his two-year marriage to Lavigne was on the rocks, and that he had recently put his career on the back burner "in favor of partying." "The National Enquirer ... [has] issued a gossip story surrounding Deryck Whibley of Sum 41 and his wife Avril Lavigne. For the record we strongly deny the inference of marital problems between Avril and Deryck," the statement reads. "We also strongly deny the National Enquirer claims of any other liaisons. Deryck has in fact been traveling through Asia performing with Avril as evidenced by the numerous YouTube videos."

With the summer coming up, I instantly think about me in a cocktail bathing suit with a cosmopolitan next to the pool reading a fashion magazine. With this picture in my mind, I felt the time was right to talk about this Summer swimsuit trends. This season, it's all about 2 trademark looks: the one shouldered bathing suit and cutout bikini. The colour is important too: With the bathing suit, you choose for neutral colours like olive green, petrol, or just black, and the cutout bikini asks for standout colours like mint blue, cobalt, pink, and so on...

A cover up, dress, gladiator sandals or even a great bag are perfect accessories for that hot summer look. You can even find some great zebra jewelry if you choose to go with a more classic black swimsuit.

Don't forget that this summer swimwear trend is all about posing: not so much for swimming but being the belle of the pool.

i have just recently noticed british model and tv star alexa chung while reading through some of my magazines and i have fallen in love with her style. she mixes girly pieces with a sort of boyish grunge and rocker look. her style is very casual and creative. and one thing i love about her is with almost every outfit i see her wear she has piled on necklaces. and since i love to pile on jewelry where-ever i possibly can...it's nice to know someone else has the same problem. here is a collection of some of my recent favorite outfits of hers. she is so cute!

i am gladiator.

TRY. adding a heel.

gladiator sandals have been my obsession for the past two summers now. they come in so many different styles and make any outfit look more unique than they would with a boring pair of flip flops. but recently the gladiators have branched out a little bit more by adding a heel. the platform gladiator sandals are everywhere this summer and i am obsessed. they are stylish and can be dressed up or casual. 

these jimmy choo gladiator heels which go for around $800 would have been the ultimate heels to purchase...but these gorgeous and ultra comfortable michael kors heels had to do :)

vanessa hudgens also shows a great example of the gladiator wedges..which i love too!

The fit can range from super-skinny to a roomier and pegged, boyfriend jean.
